The bood has two main points. 1) You were designed to run, namely but not exclusively barefoot. Everything about you is engineered to run. Its not that shoes don't have a place in running, but they are not the determining factor. Your body is more than capable to handle running. 2) Running is a really natural thing for humans to do. There is a considerable amount of research that supports this. From design, to diet there is more and more data that supports running as a tool that help to separate us from the rest of the animal kingdom.
